This was our wedding day. After almost 8 years of being a couple, we finally (whew!) tied the knot in November of 2013, at my parent's home. This was a very happy day for all of us! Before then, The Hubs was a confirmed bachelor...ha! He is quite a bit younger than me, but since I'm immature by nature, we get along just fine! We met playing softball...his brother was my teammate and told me I just had to meet his brother. The Hubs and I met, one thing lead to another, and here we are today, a family! I love this man more!
The Fab Four!
Me, The Hubs, and my two kiddos...I would have to say that my kids are my greatest accomplishment! Not only do I love these two beyond words, but I really like them too! I am very blessed for sure! My oldest is an artist, in every sense of the word. He writes, he draws, he creates...and he got none of this from me! My youngest is extremely creative also, and is spending her days right now, taking care of sick folk...she has all my respect and admiration, for the job she does each day! These two make my heart full...
And then there's me...some key things about me? Well I love me some Springsteen; I have played and/or coached softball since I was 14, and still plan on playing some more if my old body allows; I adore reading...it's my most relaxing, fun thing to do; I love movies...thriller/action is my favorite genre, but I will definitely cry over a good ole' fashioned love story too; I'm a bookkeeper by day, and love my job (what!?!); I love paint...I buy a ton, and don't necessarily apply it to my walls as quickly as I should, but I love it; I'm adopted; I have a very dry sense of humor; I'm sarcastic; I love red wine; and I want to one day retire to the mountains...
